William Vollriede, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born on October 8, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. He unexpectedly passed away at home on February 17, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
William was a proud Vietnam veteran, having served his country with honor. Following his military service, he enjoyed a successful career as a repairman with Tri-r Vending, where he was known for his dedication and skill.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, William was a longtime enthusiast of both guns and fishing. These hobbies provided him with joy and peace, often shared with family and friends during weekends by serene lakes or in the vibrant company of nature.
William is survived by his sons, Brian Vollriede and Bill Vollriede, as well as his cherished grandchild, Domienico. He is also remembered by his sister, Nadine, who, along with his sons and grandchild, will carry on his spirit. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen, who he is now reunited with.
William's unexpected departure has left a void in the lives of many, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who loved him.
