William Sims, 75, US Marine and Vietnam War Veteran of Chicago's Belmont Craigen neighborhood, formerly of Morgan Park, unexpectedly passed September 28, 2024.

Beloved husband of Peggy. Dearest father of Gwendolyn, William, Derrick, Deion, Lakisha (David), Chris (Allison), Kaleb (Amy) and the late Teion. Cherished grandfather, great grandfather, and great- great grandfather to a host of grandchildren. Loving brother of Anton, Edward, Rita, Roselyn, Thomasina, Jerome, Vincey, and the late Marty.
