William P. Gibbons

William P. Gibbons MD, age 82, passed away on April 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Zebrzynski) and dear father of William and Eric. He was the proud grandfather of Liam and Adeline, Maxwell and Vivienne. He was the third of the six children of Bridie and Austin Gibbons. His sister Mary and his brothers Michael and Frank mourn his passing; his brothers Austin and Tom preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Loyola University School Of Medicine and then served in the Navy; thereafter, he and his brother Austin practiced Pathology together for many years at St. Joseph hospital, Elgin, Good Samaritan hospital, Downers Grove, and Rush Copley hospital, Aurora.
