Wendy Maritsa Urteaga

Wendy Maritsa Urteaga, 42, of River Grove, formerly Chicago's Northwest Side, passed away after a long illness on January 16, 2024. Devoted wife of Jeff Richards. Beloved daughter of Jose and Maria Urteaga. Loving sister of Rodney (Darnita Watt) and Bryan (Amanda) Urteaga. Dear aunt to Rose. Cherished niece, cousin and friend to many. Graduate of Resurrection High School class of 1999 and Marquette University with a doctorate in physical therapy where she was able to assist many in need through her profession. Avid music enthusiast and concert goer who will be missed by many.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date/time.
