Tony Tate

Tony Tate, a 61-year-old Army veteran from Chicago and formerly of Markham, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2024. He was a beloved father to Lavaro Johnson and a cherished brother to Curtis Tate, Joanne Vaughn, Dorothy Truitt, and the late Emma, James, Shirley and Ricky. Tony was also a devoted uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.

A longtime truck driver, Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and bringing joy to those around him with his incredible sense of humor. He will be deeply missed. At the request of the bereaved last wishes. A private celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
