Thomas "Tommy" Malachy Travers

Thomas “Tommy” Malachy Travers, age 59, died suddenly on July 26, 2021. Cherished son of Marge, nee Callow, and the late Charlie Travers; proud brother to the late Patrick, Tim (Tricia), Mike (Sarah), Bernadette (Michael) Colletti, Cassie (Denis) O’Connor, Margie (Dave) Needleman, Terry, Mary, Norah (Eamonn) O’Connor, Rita (Noel) Skelton, Barbara, Rosie (Conal) Gillespie, Aidan (Denise) and Sheila; loving and hilarious uncle to Brian (Ellen Kennelly), Joan, Neil (Kristin), Austin, Charlie, Paddy and Lydia Travers, Mike Jr. (Sheila), Matt (Erica), Alyssa and Anna Colletti, Kevin (Ashley), Danny and Deirdre O’Connor, Bob (Aileen) and Jim Needleman, Matie (Alex Facchin), Eamonn, Mary Elizabeth and Sean O’Connor, Brendan and Mairead Skelton, Claire Travers, Hailey Staunton, Declan, Emma and Tara Gillespie, Matt Hermann and Aidan Jr Travers and great-uncle to 16 nieces/nephews. A much loved nephew, cousin and friend to many, especially Linda and Fred Stadick, Elizabeth Borg and the late Evelyn Staunton. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 with visitation from 9:15 am to 10:45 am and funeral mass at 11:00 am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave, Chicago. (Only those who are unvaccinated will be required to wear masks and socially distance themselves.) Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
