Thomas Patrick Dohe Sr.

Thomas Patrick Dohe Sr., 74, life long resident of Schiller Park, Illinois, peacefully passed away at his home September 19, 2024. Thomas worked as a carpenter at Chicago Yacht Yard (formerly Rodi Boat Yard) for over 35 years. He was passionate about woodworking and was fond of the old world craftmanship style. Thomas enjoyed designing, building and fixing things. He also liked cooking, canning and tending to his garden. 

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Ruth Ann Dohe (née Von Busch); loving children Lavinia (Eric) Lipa, Patricia Dohe and Thomas (Heather Schadeck) Dohe Jr.; treasured grandchildren Jamie Smith, Jason Lipa and Dylan Lipa; cherished siblings William (Eileen) Dohe and Margie (Richard) Klean. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother Robert Dohe and parents Elmer and Lavinia Dohe.
