Terry Collins

Terry Ann Collins, born on June 3, 1951, loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend went home to the be with the Lord on August 16, 2024. She was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Joesurilla Spires and Marshall Collins. She came to the place she called home, Chicago, in 1970. She made a living and retired from Avon after 30 plus years of dedicated employment. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Pernola Williams, her mother and father as well as her loving sister Ronda Faye, niece NiKenya Spires as well as nephew Kerrence Spires. She leaves behind her loving children Donovan (LaTrena), Kenyetta, Shana (Jerome), Tara and Xavior as well as many loved grandchildren, Shawntea, Janarold, Janiese, Donovan Jr, Dimonesha, Dontell, LaKenya, Taviye, Josie, Kenyetta Jr, Jaiquavius, Julius, Kiara, Kase and LaSalle as well as her wonderful great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother and sisters, Diane , Stanley, Truetta ( Lionel), Cheryl (Barry), and Kecia (David) and many many close nieces and nephews. Terry Ann was an active member of Greater Rock Missionary Baptist Church and served as an usher for many years. She enjoyed life to the fullest and marched to the beat of her own drum. 

Terry was a longtime member of the Greater Rock Missionary Baptist Church where services will be held, date/time pending.
