Shawn D. Williams

Shawn D. Williams, born December 23, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Shawn was known for his warm heart, infectious smile, and entrepreneurial spirit. He worked as a security guard, ride share driver, held a position at the Chicago Board of Trade, and even founded his own moving company, Odds & Ends Movers.  Shawn lived life to the fullest and found joy in travel—he cruised the seas, relaxed in Mexico and Jamaica, and enjoyed the bright lights of Las Vegas. 

He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend who loved music, Chicago sports, great food, and making those around him laugh. Though he had no children of his own, he was a guiding presence in the lives of many and will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the light he brought to every room. He is preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind a loving circle of siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever carry his memory. His journey here may have ended, but his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience lives on.
