Shakarri Leeaa Bishop, age 36, of North Chicago, Illinois, passed away on May 26, 2024. She was born on September 21, 1987, in Waukegan, IL. Shakarri was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her children, Isaiah Bishop, Aaliyah Burnett, Nivea Bishop, and Denise Hill. Her mother Keron Bishop, stepfather, Bobby Gordon, brothers', Corris Bishop, Byron Windom, and Brandon Gordon. Grandmother, Thessalonia Stallworth, step-grandmother, Sally Gordon, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Shakarri was preceded in death by her sister, Isha Windom, and her father, Dave Booker. Shakarri was known for her kind and caring nature and was adored by all who knew her. She grew up in Zion, Illinois, where her approachable personality made her easy to befriend. Shakarri pursued a career as a hairstylist and had a passion for singing in her free time. She attended Zion Benton High School and established herself as a skilled professional in the beauty industry. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to honor Shakarri's life on June 22, 2024, at the Belvidere Recreation Center, 412 S. Lewis Ave, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. Visitation with the family will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Shakarri will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those whose lives she touched.
