Emblem

Ronald James Taylor, Veteran, 64, of the Chicagoland area, passed away July 21, 2024. Adored father of Kathleen Vassios, son-in-law, Joe Vassios, and Jordyn Taylor. Dear brother of Cris Tonasket and late Daniel Taylor. Beloved son of Daniel and Martha Taylor. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. Fun-loving grandfather to grand dogs Rick, Albert, Hendrix, and Smokey. Cherished friend to many.

Ronald was a longtime Chief Inspector of Aviall, a Boeing Company, who never lost his zest for  mechanics.  Ronald will be remembered for his love of working with his hands, the building of model aircrafts, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Ronald spent much of his time immersed in Formula 1 racing, history readings, and planning out his next RV adventure. He was a dog lover who enjoyed boating any chance he could.

Ronald’s sense of humor, ability to make the best of any situation, and knowledge of varying topics will be missed the most. Ronald was well loved and will be missed dearly. A private family memorial service will be held in Washington state.

Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options in Schiller Park, Illinois.
