Roberto Melendez, 83, of Norwood Park; formerly of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala; at rest January 30, 2019. Beloved husband of Amalia for 48 years. Loving father of Eddy (Maria), Wilfredo (Marisol), Marvin, Zuany (Wayne) Geiger and Evelyn Sanchez. Dearest grandpa of twelve and great-grandfather of nine. Preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many. A Memorial Mass will be held Sunday, February 10th at 3:00 PM at St. Mary of the Lake, 4200 N. Sheridan Rd. Chicago, IL 60613.
