Petrona Lopez, 91, of Niles and formerly of New Orleans, LA, Miami, FL and Chicago, IL, after a long illness passed away on July 5, 2020. Beloved mother of Victor, Marina, Elba, Sylvia, Luis, and Herson. Loving grandmother of 16. Cherished sister to 4 sisters, 1 brother, and proceeded in death by 1 brother. Petrona loved to cook. She was who everyone went to for 'orders' and recipes. She was also very crafty. A visitation will be held on July 7, 2020 from 4pm until 8pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
