On August 3, 2024, the world lost a beacon of kindness and love with the passing of Michelle Rae Berry in Chicago, IL. Born on October 30, 1962 in Rockford IL, Michelle led a life filled with grace, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family.

Michelle was a woman whose heart overflowed with love for her family. She found joy in the simple moments of life, cherishing conversations with her grandkids and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout her life, Michelle wore a smile that could light up the darkest of days.

Described as kind, loving, and charismatic, Michelle possessed a remarkable personality that drew others towards her. She had a special gift for connecting with people from all walks of life and effortlessly forming friendships wherever she went.

One of Michelle's proudest accomplishments was undoubtedly her children and grandchildren. She considered them to be her greatest treasures and took immense pride in their achievements. Her daughters Krystal Berry and Bianca Berry, along with her son-in-law Matt Barnett, were the light of her life. Michelle adored her grandchildren Sadie, Tyshawn, Alexander, Wonyae, Juriam, Christian, and Mia beyond measure.

In addition to her immediate family members, Michelle is preceded in death by her father Donald Berry; mother Sharon Berry; she is survived by brother Donnie Berry; aunt Durla Hayes; and significant other Willie Mansheck; along with many friends. Their lives have been forever enriched by Michelle's presence and love.

Michelle had a deep passion for watching movies with her family and indulging in sweet treats that brought everyone together in warmth and laughter.

Although she may no longer be physically present among us, the memory of Michelle's boundless love and infectious smile will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest in peace knowing that she leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations to come.
