It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melanie Ann Rocha, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 38.

 Born on December 25, 1986, Melanie was a daughter, sister, mother, niece and cousin, who faced many personal struggles throughout her life. Despite the challenges she endured, she will always be remembered by her family and friends for her unique spirit.

Melanie leaves behind three children who were the center of her world: Cameren (19), Cody (7), and Cassidy (6). Her love for them, though complicated by her struggles, was always present

She is survived by her parents, Joe Rocha and Patty Soltis, her sister Mary Rocha, and her many uncles, aunts, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Melanie's life was marked by both struggle and resilience. While her time with us was not without hardship, she will be remembered for the lessons learned through adversity, and for the love she gave in her own way.

A service to honor Melanie’s life will be held Sunday, February 23rd, 12pm-4:30pm at Juliet’s Tavern 202 N Chicago St Joliet IL 60432. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe in her memory.

May she rest in peace, and may her children, who were her heart, continue to find strength in the love and support of their family.
