Mary Lillegard

Mary Lillegard, 92, of Chicago, entered into eternal rest September 20, 2024.

Former spouse of Jerrod Lillegard. Loving mother of Roberta (Dwayne) Beckman and Mark (Jane Bishop-Lillegard) Lillegard. Dearest grandmother of Tana Konecny (Lucas), Ethan Beckman, and Jacob Beckman, Erik Lillegard, and Hallie Lillegard. Beloved great-grandmother of Ayla, Oliver, Kayden, Novalee, River, and the soon to be born Forest. Cherished sister of Joan Thomas, Charles (the late Bernadine) Gitzinger, Tom (Nora) Gitzinger, Susan (Hans) Port, the late John (the late Nancy) Gitzinger, the late Barbara (Larry) Ryback, and the late Lorraine (the late Michael) Leptich. Precious daughter of the late John and the late Katherine.

Mary was an alumni of St Ben's Grade School and Amundsen High School. She was retired from the Dearborn Company and X-Ray Stencil. Mary was a playful spirit that enjoyed bowling, cards, and board games, and had a deep love for elephants.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mary’s name to a wildlife organization that supports elephants.
