Maro Yarbrough

Maro Yarbrough, 69, US Army veteran of North Chicago, IL formerly of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord after a long illness on December 8, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of the late Terrel and grandmother of two. Dear sister of Willis Burks and the late Bryant Burks, Regina Freeman, Michael Burks and Loretha Burks. Cherished Auntie of Loretha, Erika, Monika, Alex, Willis Jr., Tasha, Anika, Danielle and Staci Burks. Great Aunt and friend to many.

Maro was a longtime and devoted congregation member of House of Prayer Church in Gurnee, Il. 

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and time.
