Kendall Bedford Whitfield, born on April 16, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. At the age of 61, he left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Kendall was a devoted father to his two beloved children, Kahleif Whitfield and Kenya Whitfield, whom he treasured deeply. He was the proud grandfather of La'Niyah, Jahmir and Khalil. Kendall was the beloved son of Everett Whitfield and Rowena Draughon, who instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and family devotion. He shared a strong bond with his siblings, Dominic Whitfield and Lashawn Whitfield, and maintained a loving relationship with extended family members, including Dominic E. Whitfield, Jade Whitfield, Korey Whitfield, and N’Dea Whitfield. Family was central to Kendall’s life, and he found great joy in celebrating and supporting those he cared for. Kendall will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his warm and welcoming presence, and his ability to bring people together. His laughter and wisdom will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
