Katie W. Butler, 83, of Des Plaines, formerly of Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood and Natchez, MS, passed away on March 8th, 2025. 

Loving mother to Gwendolyn, Beverly, Brenda, Martinez , and Freddie Jr. Cherished grandma to Paul, Brendon , Niles, Roman, and the late Seth. Great grandmother to many. Adored sister to Rebecca, Agnes, A.J, the late Pinky, Suewilla, George Jr., Mary Lee, Catherine, Robert Earl, Ralph, and Hattie. Dear aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Des Plaines, Il, 334 S Mt Prospect Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016 at 1pm to 2pm.
