Judy Kay Fisher

Judy Kay Fisher born on June 8, 1950, embraced her final journey on December 10, 2023. She was a resident of Chicago, and passed away peacefully in Evanston, IL. Judy, known for her strong spirit and compassionate nature, touched the lives of those around her in a profound and lasting way.

From an early age, Judy showed a remarkable curiosity and love for learning. She approached life with an open mind and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. As a young girl growing up, she would spend countless hours engrossed in books that transported her to different worlds and expanded her imagination.

Music also played a significant role in Judy's life. She found solace in melodies that resonated with her emotions and experiences. Enjoying quiet moments with her favorite albums playing softly in the background, music provided a soundtrack to her life.

Family meant everything to Judy. She deeply loved her parents, Merlin Fisher and Helen Fisher, who raised her with unwavering support.

Judy's legacy lives on through those she leaves behind. Christine Sponem, her daughter;  Alan Sponem her son-in- law; Sean her grandson; Mark Forte, her son; Ed Fisher, her brother; Donna Fisher, sister-in-law; Jennifer and Carrie, her nieces; and Todd her nephew along with her great neices and nephews.

May she rest in peace knowing that her spirit will be free from all fear.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local library or any charitable organization dedicated to promoting education and literacy. This is a fitting tribute to honor Judy's memory and continue the legacy of learning she cherished so deeply.
