AKA Joey, Jojo, Papa Smurf
Joseph was the first born to Jose and Carmen Mercado on July 5, 1985.
He will be remembered as a sports enthusiast including WWE. He was an avid bowler, bowling a 300 on April 18,2018. He was a movie buff, memorizing line after line, character after character and soundtrack after soundtrack. There wasn’t a movie that he didn’t know at least one line from.
Joseph was loved by a multitude of people. Everyone who met him would rave about how loyal he was, how he would give great counsel, how great a listener he was but most importantly how he loved his friends and family without limits. His smile and laugh were contagious and would win you over in the blink of an eye. Many entered his life as a friend but he quickly would consider you a brother/sister.
Joseph is survived by his parents Jose (Tony) & Rachel Mercado, Carmen Mercado & Angel Vazquez, his brothers Christopher, Adrian, Saul and Danny along with his sister Ivelisse.
As you all know Joey was a Liver transplant recipient so as a family we ask that in lieu of flowers that you would consider making a contribution to Donate Life America in Joey’ name. (When making a donation please use camiam57@gmail.com as the recipients email.) This organization advocates and educates communities on the importance of organ donation.
