Jose Angel Ortega, 83, of Morton Grove, IL formerly of Melbourne, FL, born in Vega Baja, PR passed away on January 6th, 2025 after a long illness.

Beloved husband of the late Ramona (2022). Loving father of Jose Jr. (Julianna), Juan (Karina) and Dori Ortega. Cherished grandfather of Desiree, Ramona, Noah and Samuel. Dear brother of Rosa, Bienvenido, Ramon, Graciliano, Justina and Altagracia. Fond uncle and friend to many.

A visitation will be held on January 14th, 2025 starting at 9:30am with a mass to follow at 10:00am at St Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church, 8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634. (Small Chapel)
