Jesse Rodriguez, Sr

Jesse "Jess" Rodriguez, Sr age 67 and longtime resident of Berwyn, passed away at home on October 16th.

Beloved husband of 44 years of Virginia (nee Vickers), Jesse is survived by his two sons, Jesse Rodriguez, Jr and Anthony Rodriguez and his three adored grandchildren Mia, Chayse and Suprena. 

Dearest brother to Lynn, Chris and "little brother" to Janey whom he fondly called "Queenie." Fun uncle to countless nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jovita "Mary" (nee Samorra) and Frank Rodriguez and his siblings Frank, Mary Valleijo, Julian "Rocky" and Isabel who passed at age 10. Jesse is also survived by Joey the cat. Jesse would jokingly call Joey "Mom's favorite son" and would accuse Virginia of loving the cat more than she loved him. An accusation that Virginia staunchly denies. 

Jesse was a career truck driver or "transportation engineer" as he liked to call himself. His truck was his office and everyone knew that Jesse was happiest in his truck.

Jesse loved all the Chicago sports teams but he was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan for the majority of his adult life. 

Jesse will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
