Jeffrey Charles Lambrechts

Jeffrey (Jeff) Charles Lambrechts Age 71 of Zion, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17 at Alden Terrace in McHenry, IL after succumbing to a battle with liver cancer. Born January 21, 1949. In Oak Park, IL, Jeff spent the majority of his career in the lumber business including his time as a salesman for Libertyville Lumber Co. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Herbert William and Catherine Luella (née Reilly) Lambrechts and we take solace knowing they’ve been waiting with open arms for his arrival. He was a beloved friend to many far and wide, a kind and loving father to Pennelope Rose Lambrechts of North Chicago, IL and a caring brother to his 8 siblings including Herbert Jr. (fiancée Linda Kaye). Mary Kay (Bill) Boukas, Patricia (Fred) Mell, Gregg (the late Deborah), Phil (Sandy), Vince (Ceferina), Steve (Patricia) and Cathy (Vincent), uncle and great uncle to many. Jeff enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, camping, fishing, music, friends and family. He loved sharing stories of his travels, especially to Hawaii. His free spirit and ability to love all that life had to offer will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. If you wish to make a charitable donation in Jeff’s name, the family suggests either the JourneyCare Foundation who provided superior support or to Illinois Beach State Park for campground improvements.
