James Edward Sheriff, 84, US Navy Veteran, of Homewood and formerly of Bethel, OH passed July 30, 2024. Dear husband of Mary Anne Sheriff. Loving father of Jeanine (Pascal) Fontaine and Jolene (Pete) Bruning. Beloved grandfather of Jason, Alexandra, and Justin. Cherished brother of Diana (Brad) Mohs. James was a longtime employee of Roadway Express for 32 years and won many awards including National Truck Driver of the Year in 1998, driving four million miles while being accident free, and many others.
