Gordon A. Johnson

Gordon (Gordy) Johnson, age 78, of Chicago, Illinois, received the Crown of Life on Saturday, March 19, 2022.  

Gordy is survived by his wife, Leslee of 39 years; his children, Scott (Julie) Johnson,  Jill (Isaac) Johnson Vigil, and Melissa (Tyler) Mullikin; five grandchildren, Emily,  Eric, Scarlett, Eloise, and Grayson. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Johnson. 

Gordy was a loving father and a faithful friend. His greatest joys were his family  whom he loved spending time with, his grandchildren whom he cherished, and his  friends who stood by him throughout his struggle with Parkinson’s disease. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, 10:00 am at St. John’s  Lutheran Church, 4939 W Montrose Ave, Chicago. Memorial Gathering is from 9:30 – 10:00 am.
