Gloria Jean Morment

Gloria Jean Morment, affectionately known as "Titi," passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on January 4, 1962, in Whiteville, Tennessee, Gloria lived a life marked by warmth, openness, and an unwavering love for her family and community.

Throughout her life, Gloria was cherished by all who knew her. A true social butterfly, she had a remarkable ability to connect with people. Her honest and upfront nature made her someone everyone could trust; she kept the secrets of her friends and offered a listening ear whenever needed. Gloria's home was a welcoming place, always filled with love and laughter, and her door was always open to family, friends, and neighbors alike.

Gloria had passions that illuminated her life. She loved to dance, often gracing the floor with her joyful spirit. In her quieter moments, she found joy in drawing and took pride in her collection of jewelry and bracelets. Her affection for hanging out on her front porch became an endearing trait, as she greeted passersby with warmth and a friendly smile.

Her legacy lives on through her children: Kimberly Sanneh, Terral Morment, Melonita Morment, Henry Johnson, Marlo Johnson, Ricardo Johnson, Antonio Davis, Reta Davis, Renay Davis, Christopher Allen, Daniel Wright, and Jason Bardgey, along with her daughter Victoria Shelby. Gloria was not only a devoted mother and grand mother but also a beloved sister and aunt, holding a special place in the hearts of her numerous nieces and nephews. Her bond with her siblings, including her sister Delvelt Wright and brother Sam Lewis, is a testament to the love she fostered within her family.

Gloria is reunited in spirit with her beloved deceased family and friends, including her sisters Dulvet Allen and Barbara Harris, and her mother Suzie Mathis.

Her profound impact on those around her will be forever remembered, as will her joyous spirit and unwavering love for her community. Gloria Jean Morment truly leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and unyielding support that will resonate with her family and the many lives she touched.
