Elliot Goode

Elliot Goode, US Army Veteran and a beloved civil engineer, passed away on August 2, 2024, in his hometown of Chicago. He was born on January 24, 1943, in the same vibrant city that will always hold a special place in his heart. Throughout his life, Elliot made significant contributions to the field of civil, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he served. His dedication and passion for his work were evident to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.

Outside of his illustrious career, Elliot was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving, Arleen, and their two sons, Andrew Goode and Joshua Goode. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through them. Elliot was a dear son to the late George and Idelle Goode, and friend to late brother Benjamin.

Not only was Elliot a brilliant professional and caring family man, but he also proudly served his country with honor. Stationed in Hawaii during a challenging period when others were Vietnam, he exemplified courage and commitment to his duties. Elliot Goode will be fondly remembered for his kindness, integrity, and unwavering dedication to everything he pursued. His loss leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched countless lives with his warmth and generosity.
