Eddie Arian Castro Jr., 46, was born on August 30th, 1974 in Belize City, Belize.
He was the first born child from the union of Eddie and Carolyn Castro (both deceased). He was raised by his Grandmother, Lucille Welcome (deceased), in Independence, Belize.
At age 7, Eddie came to the United States to live with his parents in Chicago. He attended St. Jerome Catholic elementary school and continued to St. Gregory and Sullivan for High School. While not a fan of school (or being told what to do in general) guitar class grabbed his attention and he excelled.
In addition to his love of music, Eddie also was fascinated by dogs and eventually went on to learn how to train them. He had an interest in urban farming, was an avid reader, and had a wide knowledge and deep opinions on a variety of topics.
He was an expert in the career of moving and transport and freely shared his knowledge with co-workers, helping to mentor and train. His genuineness and generosity of time and money extended to friends, neighbors, and even strangers.
Add in his boundless energy, unique perspective on life, and his charisma and you get the makings of someone who will be missed by all those he touched.
To cherish these fond memories, Eddie leaves behind siblings; Deborah, Inger (deceased), Desmond, Ian, Sean, Curtis, and Baleace; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
