Earline S. Russell was born in Memphis Tennessee to Wallace and Willistine Sanford. The eldest of 3 children. She graduated from Chicago Teacher’s College earning a Bachelor’s degree. And went on to earn a Masters degree from DuPaul University. She worked as an educator and later as a Guidance Counselor at Deneen Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois.

On June 28, 1958 she married Fred Russell. They worked very hard as a couple and purchased a home on the South Side of Chicago where they raised their 2 children, Angel and Rich.

Fred and Earline were married for nearly 62 years until Fred proceeded her in death in May of 2020. Earline was a bible reader, artistic, creative, always learning, always teaching. One of her famous quotes was: “Let’s Start With The Truth.!” She was an excellent listener skilled counselor and trusted confidant. She loved to cook, sew, play bridge, and garden, especially flowers. She and Fred were known to be hospitable, hosting many gatherings over the years.

Earline had a sweet nature and was loved by all.

Including her husband Fred (deceased), and their children: Angel and Lance Long (deceased), Rich Russell, and Beverly Cantrell. Brother -Wallace Sanford Jr., Sister- Willa Morgan. Brothers-in-Law Dalion Russell Jr. (deceased), Frank Russell Sr. (deceased), Richard Russell, Alphonso Russell, Sunni A. Muqqidim (deceased). Sister-in-Law- Wilhelmina Russell. Nieces, Nephews, Other Loving Family Members and Dear Friends.
