父亲杜国光，于芝加哥时间2024年3月7号下午1点15分在芝加哥Evanston的Saint Francis 医院平静地去世，享年九十一岁，他歇下了地上的劳苦，走完了世上坎坷不平的路，回到了天家，可以在那里安息了。在学校，他是一个好老师，在家里，他是一个好丈夫，好父亲，好爷爷，好儿子，好女婿，好…，他平凡的一生却充满了艰辛和曲折，他有自己不懈的努力和对原则的坚持，勤勤恳恳地教书科研，老老实实地做人。

我们舍不得他离开我们，他也知道我们都是爱❤️ 他的，他也爱❤️我们，愿他在天堂安息！
