Doris Armstrong, 66. of Bellwood, formerly North Carolina and Michigan, passed away March 4, 2024. Doting mother of the Alexus "Lex" (Ollie), Matthew "Matt", and late Darius "Beanie" and proud dog mom to Peachy Peachy. Adored grandmother to Ayden Joshua, Ashton Franklin, NyRobi Faye and NyOmi Darlene. Dear sister to Patricia Anne (Randall), Cheryle Lavern (Johnnie), Darlene Faye (the late Stacey) and Edwin (Lisa). Cherished friend to many. Longtime employee at Mercy Hospital. Doris will be remembered for being the absolute best grandma that any child would dream of having. She was the kindest, sweetest mother, who would go out of her way for any of her children and will truly be missed by many.

A non-traditional celebration of life will be held at home by family and friends to speak on the great memories they will forever hold with Doris.
