Donald Fred Blackburn

Donald Fred Blackburn, 93, of Prospect Heights, formerly of Maine Township and Des Plaines, unexpectedly passed away on July 14, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Juanita (2020). Adored father of Larry Niedert, the late Kitty Christensen (2008), WIlliam (Sheila) Blackburn. Cherished Papa of Austin, Anna, Liam, Jillian and great grandfather to Sabrina. Fond half brother of six. Best friend of Robert “The Greek” Warren. Dear friend to many. 

A short service will be held Sunday, August 4th at Park Ridge Community Church (100 Courtland Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068) starting at 12pm with lunch to follow.
