David Alan Conn

David Conn, 74, of Chicago IL passed at home on August 7, 2024. He was surrounded by family and loved by many. David is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Kim Bond, his son Jeff Conn, daughter-in-law Heidi Blasius, and stepsons Brad & Nick Wolfenden. David loved his time with family and friends and staying up to date with news and politics. After finishing his PhD in Economics, David started his career as a professor - teaching at several academic institutions including the University of Arizona at Tucson and the University of Arkansas. David also worked in the non-profit sector advocating for people in need and developing substance abuse treatment and behavioral health programs. He was a supporter of many organizations including Planned Parenthood and The Nature Conservancy. David lived by the motto “Always Do Good” because as he said, it is the only way to make the world better. 

Per his request, services will be held in Arizona later this year.
