Daniel Murray

Daniel J Murray age 63 passed peacefully on January 30, 2021 at his home in Elk Grove, Il. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Mary (McElroy) along with his children Daniel, Patricia, and Lisa (McElroy). Danny was the beloved son of Patricia and brother to Marianne (Jeff Spencer), Cindy (Omara), Patrick, Michael (Jacqueline), James, Joseph (Virginia), and Therese (Garlich). He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family members all of whom he loved dearly. Danny was preceded in death by his father Daniel E. and his brother Thomas. After spending several years working on the CBOE Danny made a career change to Market Research eventually launching his own business, In The Loop Market Research. Over the decades he built a strong network of business and IT professional clients, many of whom became close treasured friends. Dan loved sports, especially The Chicago White Sox and was often called upon by friends and family alike for answers to sports related trivia questions. He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him dearly. In consideration of the safety and well-being of friends and family, there will be a private service.
