Charles Scott Allen

Charles Scott Allen, 78, of McHenry, IL passed away on April 30, 2023 surrounded by family.  Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Allen.  He was also the beloved father of Jessica Krueger and Cassie (Chris) Daisy.  He was also the loving grandfather of Sebastian, Owen, Luke and Marko and the beloved brother of Lina (Bruce) Swanson.  Charles wore many hats throughout his life.  He is most fondly known to Lincoln Junior High School Alumni as Mr. Allen, who taught social studies to 7th and 8th graders.  In his spare time, he also ran a Monday night men's golf league.  He will be missed by many. Visitation to be held on May 10th at Universal Unitarian Church at 5603 Bull Valley Road. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be directed to Universal Unitarian as they share his philosophy of inclusiveness and compassion.
