Catherine Meillon-Lynch

Catherine Lynch, a dedicated teacher at Lycée Francais de Chicago and beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and colleague, passed away on August 3, 2024. She was born on January 21, 1971, Bordeaux, France to her loving parents Francois Meillon and her late mother Nicole Meillon.

Catherine is survived by her loving family: her husband Daniel Lynch, their daughter Nina Lynch, her brother's Jean and Paul Meillon, and her father Francois Meillon. In this time of profound loss, may they find solace in the treasured memories they shared with Catherine.

A visitation service to honor and celebrate Catherine's life will be held on August 9, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM at St Nicholas Catholic Church (St. John XXIII Parish) in Evanston, Illinois. The visitation will be followed by a commemorative service at 11:00 AM to remember the legacy of a remarkable individual who brightened the lives of so many.
