Carole Curran

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole Curran, 81, of McHenry, Illinois and formerly of  Chicago, Illinois who left us on June 29 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of Harold for 62 years, loving mother of Scott, and cherished grandmother of Kylie. Carole was the dear sister of the late Thomas Kreigh and the late Maxine DeMicco. She was the dearest aunt of Paula, Joey, Julie, Michelle, Michael, and Susan. She was also the great-aunt to Brandy, Guy, Max, Quinn, Clare, Andrea, Nikki, Dylan, and Joshua. She was a great, great-aunt, and had countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity. 

Given the care she continually gave to others, it was with great love that in addition to her husband, her nieces Julie and Tammie were able to care for her in the last year of her life.

To commemorate her incredible journey, and to celebrate the love she spread, a Celebration of Life/Luncheon will be held in her honor at 31 North on Sunday, July 14, from noon until three pm. We invite you to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
