Carlos Lopez

Carlos Enrique Lopez Reyes, 79, passed away on January 17th, 2025. He was born in Yurecuaro, Michoacán, and raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Beloved husband to the late Nerea (2007). Loving father to Alberico (Lorena) Lopez and Carlos (Rocio) Lopez. Cherished “abuelito” to Alicia, Samuel, Karla, and Anna Sophia. Dear brother to Malena, Eva Elena, and the late Jesus (Chuy), Julio Cesar (Chacho) and Miguel Angel (Tata). Fond uncle and friend to many. 

Carlos enjoyed a long and successful career in the hospitality industry, where he met his beloved wife, Nerea. Together, they fulfilled their dream of opening a thriving restaurant in Calpulalpan, Tlaxcala, Mexico. There, they raised their two sons and created a loving life surrounded by family. 

Carlos was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and love for those around him. He enjoyed playing racquetball, swimming, and taking road trips. He also appreciated quiet moments, often relaxing with a drink and listening to music. 

Above all, Carlos was a devoted grandfather who took great pride in supporting his grandchildren's extracurricular activities. Whether cheering from the sidelines or celebrating their achievements, he was always there with love and encouragement. All who knew him will deeply miss his kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit.
