Betty Ann Mika

Betty Ann (Harris) Mika, a lifelong resident of Hammond, Indiana passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025.

Betty was the proud mother of Jeffrey Mika and Shelley Mika, who were the light of her life. Known for her infectious spirit and magnetic personality, Betty had a gift for storytelling that could light up any room. She either knew everyone or made sure to make a new friend wherever she went.

A true free spirit and hippie at heart, Betty had a deep love for 70s music, the kind of tunes that perfectly matched her soulful spirit. She lived life on her own terms, with laughter and kindness.

Betty is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents and siblings, a thought that brings comfort to those who miss her here on earth. Her memory will be cherished by her children, her many friends, and all those lucky enough to have crossed paths with her.
