In loving memory of Beth Ann Greenlee (née Gadberry), beloved wife, mother, and friend, who passed
away in Libertyville, IL on April 23, 2024. Born in Chicago and raised in Lakeview on the city’s Northside
during the vibrant 70s and 80s, she embraced life with a contagious sense of humor and deep
empathy for all.
In her kindness & compassion, Beth was always ready to lend a helping hand to both humans and
animals alike. She loved animals, music, thrifting, baking, and bingo with her sisters.
With a zest for life and a mischievous twinkle in her eye, Beth filled every room with laughter through
her silly antics, zany impersonations, and playful practical jokes. Her quick wit and infectious humor
brought joy to the lives of everyone around her.
Throughout her diverse career journey, from managing rental properties to serving as a Cook County
Board of Election voting judge, Beth approached each role with dedication and enthusiasm, leaving a
lasting impact on those she encountered.
In her passing, Beth leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard Greenlee; mother, Jean Gadberry; and father,
Alfred C. Gadberry. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sarah Jean (née Greenlee) and
Michael Ferentinos; four grandchildren: Jacob, Vincent, Joseph, and Mia; one kitty: Clyde; brothers: Jim Cohrs, David Gadberry, Peter Gadberry; sisters: Bridget Wright, Mary Gadberry, Toni Gadberry; as well
as eight nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She will be
deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of love is to be held at St. Alphonse’s church at 10 am on May 4, 2024, with visitation starting at 9am. Afterward, a reception will take place at the Northside Fire Brigade (6240 W. Addison, Chicago, IL) starting at 2 pm.
