Bernard Woods

Bernard Woods was born on February 24, 1959 in Chicago Illinois to Hazel C. Woods and Robert L. Hudson who both preceded him in death. Bernard was the kind of person that would do anything you could ask of him, but you would either have to pay him or feed him. He loved to eat. He was your handy man thanks to our Uncle Jimmy for showing him the ropes. He was the neighbor hood Hand Car Washer. Bernard was loved by many and will be missed by many. He attended Parker Elementary and High School. Bernard also was a rider on the Jays Potato Chip truck for 15yrs. He also worked for Ransom School Bus Company cleaning the buses after they returned to the yard. Bernard made his transition on January 30, 2025. Bernard was the fourth child of six. He leaves to cherish his memory three surviving siblings a brother Fernandez Woods Sr, 2 sisters Tanya Woods, Wanda Woods-Hatten and 2 brothers that preceded him in death Michael Young and Stanley Woods, 7 Aunts 4 Uncles and a host nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
