Gladys Williams

Gladys Williams, 70, passed away October 2, 2019. Gladys was born on November 27, 1948 to the late Levan and Alma Murray. She was born and raised in Chicago with her siblings; Levan Jr., Mary Helen, Ernest, Gwendolyn, Valerie, Alex, and Vonda Kay. Gladys was married to Solomon Williams Sr. for 52 years. Beloved mother to Melvin, Solomon Jr., and Kevin (Sara). Loving grandmother of 9. Cherished auntie to a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Gladys loved shopping, cooking and eating, talking, being the class clown, and laughing, reading and entertaining. She enjoyed working in the medical field and spent years as a dental hygienist, an office manager, and coding/billing for the director of anesthesiology. A celebration of her life will be held on October 26, 2019 at Unity Church of Oak Park, located at 405 N. Euclid Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. Visitation will begin at 11:30am. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
